Elisa Bazzi
I was born and raised in Locarno (Ticino), where the world of books, cinema, music, and art fascinated me from an early age. After earning my Master's degree in English Literature at the University of Zurich, I dived headfirst into the marketing universe, first at the Locarno Film Festival and then at my family's business.
You may ask: what do these different worlds that I have inhabited have in common? Easy: a story to tell!

Words in a box
2021 - today
After six years in the marketing field, I feel the need to do something new. In January 2021, Words in a box was born. The aim is to offer translation and copywriting services and give greater visibility and representation to the small canton Ticino.
Bazzi Piastrelle SA
2019 - today
In January 2019, I joined my family's business with my brother. Bazzi Piastrelle SA is the market leader in Ticino for the laying and sale of tiles... I am worlds apart from cinema and literature, but the mission is always the same: to know how to tell the right story!
Locarno Film Festival
2014 - 2018
Filled with the desire to leave school behind and enter the world of work, I ended up in the marketing and sponsorship office of the Locarno Film Festival: an exciting, intense job experience full of challenges that made me grow and mature professionally!
Cambridge Certificate - English Proficiency C2
My love of the English language led me well beyond schoolbooks. In autumn 2012, a language stay brought me to the vibrant and colorful San Francisco, where after three intensive months, I earned the Cambridge Certificate of English Proficiency (C2).
